Mandy
Originally from Wayne, Ohio, Mandy is a May 2011 graduate of The Salon Professional Academy in Perrysburg. It was at this prestigious school that she first realized her love for the challenge of corrective color (or any color, for that matter) and short, texturized cuts. In early 2012, she also added body waxing and Bioelements Facials to her list of favorite services to offer. While as a hairstylist she’s “very good at bringing out [her] client’s personality through their hairstyle”, skin care gives her an opportunity to “educate clients on how to take care of their skin, even more – to give them an overall great relaxation experience.”
When asked if she has a favorite style icon, Mandy enthusiastically answers “Katy Perry. She’s not afraid to be an individual. She can pull off any look, whether it’s bright blue hair or an ashy blonde because she wears it with confidence.” Mandy describes her own personal style as “trendy, but down to earth,” and like Ms. Perry, she’s not afraid to try something a little risky in her own distinct way. “I’ve experimented with almost every color, including neon colors – and have had every length of hair. I’m not afraid of change, but currently am all about the long hair with luscious curls look.”
If you’re looking for a Service Provider who is versatile in both the salon and the spa, Mandy is a fantastic choice. Not only does she do every type of hair service here at The Gallery, she also does manicures and pedicures, including Axxium and Gel Color polish, and as mentioned above, she also does body waxing and Facial services. Her hours are Monday 2-8, Tuesday 1-8, every other Wednesday 2-8, Thursday 1-8, Friday 12-8 and Saturday 9-4.

Mackenzie
One thing is for sure, Stylist Mackenzie Verbeke is a lot of fun in a tiny package! Just under 5’ tall from Hamler Ohio, and a June 2011 graduate of Toledo Academy of Beauty, she states that her personal style is “very loud and bright! I love big and crazy things and like to stand out from the crowd. I am a very sparkly person!” Mackenzie absolutely excels in all kinds of Styling and Updos. “I love to braid and curl hair! When doing an updo, you have to add your own little creative touch, and that’s what I love about them.” But before she gets started putting your hair up with beautiful curls or a gorgeous braid, Mackenzie loves to use her fantastic color skills to create the perfect color for you, which will really make your Special Occasion Upstyle stand out. With prom and wedding season around the corner, Mackenzie is a great choice to help you look perfect on that special day!
In addition to cuts, color and upstyling, Mackenzie also does manicures and pedicures, including OPI Axxium and Gel Color and facial waxing.
Knowing what you now know about Mackenzie, it’s not unusual to find out that she admires the style of reality star Nicole Polizzi – or “Snooki” - because “she wears and does what she wants and doesn’t change for anyone. She is herself, very spunky, fun and glitzy.” But even if your style may not be quite on the Sparkly/Snooki end of the spectrum, Mackenzie will still give you amazing personalized service. “I love to get to know my clients personally so I know what style would fit them.” She’s not afraid, however, to help her clients kick it up a notch. “I will try anything if you’re up for it!”
